Amazon analytics built from the settlement, not the order feed.
Synthesis connects to your Selling Partner account through the official SP-API, builds your revenue and margin from the settlement that actually reached your bank, and answers questions about it in plain English.
The order screen is a draft. Pending flips, refunds land days later and fees true up, so a month read too early is almost always wrong. Synthesis reads closed periods from the settlement and marks anything still in flight as in flight. Illustrative shape.
01What Synthesis Does for Amazon Sellers
Synthesis connects to your Amazon Selling Partner account via the official SP-API. It reads your orders, settlements, advertising and Brand Analytics reports, holds them together as one picture of the business, and answers questions about that picture in plain English.
What it catches that the order screen will not
Amazon data restates itself. Most of what a seller loses is not hidden in a report they have never opened, it is hidden in the gap between what a report said on Tuesday and what it says once the period closes. These are the four that cost the most.
02Features and Functionality

- Returns and Reimbursements โ Tracks return rates by product and monitors FBA reimbursement claims
Analytics & Intelligence
- Revenue and Trend Analysis โ Daily, weekly, and monthly revenue tracking with year-over-year comparisons and anomaly detection
- Customer Intelligence โ New vs. returning customer analysis, cohort retention, lifetime value modeling, and RFM segmentation
- Product Performance โ Per-SKU revenue, velocity, conversion rate, and contribution margin analysis
- Geographic Performance โ Revenue and customer distribution by state and city
- Brand Search Performance โ Analyzes your own Brand Analytics Search Query Performance report to understand which queries drive your own impressions, clicks, and conversions
- Cross-Sell and Market Basket โ Uses your Brand Analytics Market Basket Analysis report to identify products frequently co-purchased with your own SKUs to inform your bundling and advertising strategy
Reports that arrive on their own
- The weekly read โ Every Tuesday, your Amazon week run through the checks a specialist would run: what revenue did, which products moved it, what changed on the shelf, and the one thing worth doing about it. It arrives written, not as a dashboard link.
- Watched all week, not just when you ask โ Listings that go dark, a lost buy box, a fee that moved, a return rate climbing on one pack size. If something crosses a line that matters, it is in the next report rather than waiting to be discovered.
- It keeps its own score โ What it predicted is written down and marked against what actually happened, so its judgement is something you can check rather than take on trust.
Asking it anything, in the AI you already use
- Plain English, in Claude or ChatGPT โ Ask "why did margin drop last month?" or "which pack size is losing money?" from the assistant you already pay for. There is no separate dashboard to learn.
- It answers across your whole business, not just Amazon โ The question that matters usually crosses a boundary: what an ad earned after the sale it caused, what a customer is worth a year later. Amazon is one of the sources it reads, not the only one.
- It says when it cannot answer โ Every figure is traced to where it came from, and when your data genuinely cannot support a claim, it says so instead of estimating.
03How We Use Amazon Seller Data
Synthesis accesses the following Amazon data through the Selling Partner API exclusively to provide the analytics services described above, on a per-seller basis, to the seller who authorized the connection. We do not sell, share, distribute, or aggregate Amazon data across sellers. Each seller sees only their own data โ Synthesis does not surface information about other sellers, competitors, or the broader marketplace, and does not use Amazon Information to build competitor-facing reports of any kind.
